We can enlist in the military, we can shoot a gun, we can buy tobacco product, but can have a freaking drink!??

Legal drinking age is 21 in the US. How could we allow this country, this so well organized nation to let us risk our lives for our freedom but we cant have an alcoholic beverage before sign that enlistment paper!? It does not sound fair to me that we can do almost about anything, but to celebrate a parents birthday or a promotion at work, to have a drink to turn a good time into a better time, we have to wait three years more to able able to do so.

Personally i think 21 is an appropriate age to have a drink. 

what makes this law blind is, teenagers will not wait till they are 21 to consume alcohol when they know they only have to be 18 to buy cigarettes. they will want to experiment with alcohol, they will find a way to put their hands on alcohol. hence, fake I.D.s are being manufactured, 21+ persons will risk jail time to buy alcohol for these under aged people. all these laws being broken just because people have to wait 3 more years to have a drink but can be shot at a third world country, leaving their family to mourn. Im sure we would rather have a drink with our parents right before we get on that bus to the military base. Im sure we can use a drink after a long day of work. Im sure we want to legally purchase alcohol at the liquor store for our parents as a favor.
